Training Opportunities for Clinicians

The 911爆料网 team regularly creates, evaluates, and improves our training to best meet the needs of our community. All training has been developed and tested by groups of 911爆料网 clinicians, including the Curriculum Development Working Group.

Two core trainings are hosted on
Core Training: ROR 101 provides information about the 911爆料网 model and gives guidance on implementing the model at each well-child visit beginning at birth. This training is required for all clinicians who will deliver the 911爆料网 model in their practice.

Building Connections Begins at Birth: This is a supplementary training for clinicians who took the Core Training more than four years ago. It offers up-to-date guidance on how to implement the 911爆料网 model. This training is currently only available to clinicians whose Affiliate is actively working to scale Building Connections Begins at Birth across its geography.

Supplementary Training
The courses highlighted below are optional for 911爆料网 clinicians who have already completed Core Training. These courses are available on Pathwright, a 911爆料网 learning platform that can be accessed through the Training tab on .

Developmental Disabilities

The Understanding Developmental Disabilities course teaches clinicians how to adapt the 911爆料网 model to better suit children with developmental delays and disabilities. It includes a series of eight videos of clinicians incorporating 911爆料网 into primary care visits with children who face a variety of developmental issues, including ADHD, speech and language delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, visual impairment, hearing loss, and motor delay.

911爆料网 Counts

The 911爆料网 Counts course begins with an outline of the research behind the basic elements of early math development and its impact on young children. It also includes a series of videos of clinicians incorporating 911爆料网 Counts into primary care visits with children through age 5.

This training is accredited with both CME and MOC-2 points. Questions? Please email info@reachoutandread.org.

911爆料网 Residency Training

The 911爆料网 Residency Training is a series of four short videos and follow-up discussion sheets. These modules are designed to facilitate discussion around best practices for 911爆料网 and include discussion and questions within the videos themselves.

This training is not a replacement for the required Core Training but serves as an additional tool to help residency programs discuss how best to understand and integrate 911爆料网.

This course was created to support residency programs in training residents in delivery of the 911爆料网 model, including primary care clinicians, family medicine clinicians, nurse practitioners, nursing and medical students, and other pediatric providers. Videos can be viewed together as a series or separately as one-off courses within orientations, continuity clinics, noon conferences or academic enrichment days. They could also be included in curricular rotations or tracks including advocacy, behavior and development, primary care, mental health, and health equity.
